- Intermediate & Advanced Surfers: Most surf breaks between Male’ and Meemu Atolls are best suited for intermediate to advanced surfers, offering fast, powerful reef breaks and varied wave conditions.
- Beginner Surfers: Beginners are welcome to join surf trips; however, some breaks along this route can be challenging and are better suited to more experienced surfers.
- Access to All Breaks: Beginners or less confident surfers may still access more advanced breaks by choosing suitable conditions or with additional support such as professional surf guiding or coaching.
- Enhanced Surf Experience: Guests wishing to improve their surfing skills can benefit from guided sessions, local expertise, and personalized coaching to make the most of the diverse waves across these atolls.

Best from March to October, especially June–August, Sultans handles size well and offers multiple takeoff zones, keeping crowds manageable. With a solid southeast swell and high tide, this world-class right is a must-surf on any Maldives trip.

Despite its power, Riptides remains accessible for surfers of all levels.
