Ninjas is a fun, right-hand wave in North Male Atoll. Ideal for beginners and long boarders, Ninjas offers smaller, slower waves perfect for cruising and improvisation. Rides are typically best at 4 feet and under, though the wave can close out on bigger swells.
Ninjas is a shiftier wave with multiple takeoff options depending on the swell and tide, allowing each surfer to find their own line. The wave works best with west to northwest winds and moderate south swells, making it a great choice from March to October. Smaller days favor longboards and fish boards, while bigger swells provide fun shortboard rides for intermediate surfers.

Best from March to October, especially June–August, Sultans handles size well and offers multiple takeoff zones, keeping crowds manageable. With a solid southeast swell and high tide, this world-class right is a must-surf on any Maldives trip.

Smaller than the North Male Atoll breaks, Natives delivers world-class rides with fewer crowds, making it a top choice for surf charters in the Maldives.

Riptides is a fast, playful right-hander located near Guraidhoo Island, breaking off a small reef in the middle of the channel. When the swell is bigger, this wave can run for more than 150 metres, making it a favourite for both longboarders and shortboarders. Despite its power, Riptides remains accessible for surfers of all levels. It works best on a solid south swell with southwest to west winds—delivering the classic Maldivian surf experience many travel here for.
