Learn to Dive
Discover the art of diving in the crystal-clear waters of the Maldives. Embark on an extraordinary journey aboard a luxurious liveaboard where learning meets adventure.
Under expert guidance, you’ll earn your Open Water Diver certification and become a confident, certified diver, exploring a breathtaking underwater world filled with manta rays, turtles, and colorful coral reefs.
Day 1 – Welcome Aboard & Orientation
- Guests board the liveaboard in Malé (or your chosen embarkation point)
- Welcome briefing, safety procedures, boat orientation
- Gear fitting and dive check-in
- Evening: Short theory session on dive basics (video + instructor Q&A)
- No dives yet – rest and enjoy sunset dinner
Day 2 – Confined Water Training & First Open Water Dive
- Morning: Confined water skills session in a lagoon or shallow reef
- Afternoon: Open Water Dive 1 & 2 (max 12m)
- Theory review onboard
- Evening: Relax, night sky session, or short marine talk
Day 3 – Certification Dives
- Open Water Dive 3 & 4 (max 18m) – final training dives
- Students complete logbooks and knowledge review
- Afternoon: Optional fun dive for certified divers
- Evening: Celebrate certifications! BBQ dinner or sunset cruise
Day 4 – Adventure & Exploration Dives
- Certified divers join full dives
- 3 dives: reef exploration, drift dives, or marine life-focused dives
- Advanced students: Continue training (Deep, Navigation, or Night dive options)
Day 5 – Fun Diving
- Two morning dives – explore new dive sites (manta or shark point if conditions allow)
- Optional specialties (Nitrox Course)
- Evening: Return toward disembarkation island, farewell dinner
Day 6 – Departure
- Departure – Airport drop and Check-out
Note: The itinerary is subject to change depending on weather conditions and ocean currents to ensure safety. All dive sessions will be decided by the guides on board.

- 15 years old and above (if under age with parents or guardian) for Open Water Diver certification.
- Able to swim without floating.
- Must complete the PADI Medical Questionnaire.
- Basic comfort in the water and willingness to learn are essential.

How to get there
- The journey starts in Male and ends in Male’. Guests are picked up on arrival on the journey start date.
- Check-in time is between 11:00 AM and 12:00 noon on the day of your arrival.
- Check out: 09:00 – 10:00 AM noon departure date
